Premier Vision and Indigo 2014

At the visit to Premier Vision, I came to realise I enjoyed Indigo more than Premier Vision as it was more textiles surface independent designers, whereas Premier Vision was more like large companies with large amounts of designs. Indigo also had more fresh and different ideas.

Liberty Art Fabrics are an example of a company at Premier Vision to display fabrics for sale for fashion fabrics. 

In the open fabrics area there was samples to touch using innovative materials to create different surfaces. Marc Lagattolla was a company who created laces to look very different. Laces had cording over the floral detail and used metallic paints over the lace.. Dentelles Andre also created new lace by coating it with shiny, lightweight fabrics. 

In indigo fabrics were folded together next to each other like rolled up, I preffered the fabrics on hangers on a pole. 

Karolina York was founded in 2005 by Fashion and Print designers Liz Casella and Bronwyn Ferguson. Since then it has become one the world's leading print design studios.

Karolina York's designs are created using screen-printing, digital and hand-drawn techniques. Each design is unique and once purchased it’s owned by the client for life. All files are supplied with colour separations in high resolution Photoshop format.
