Embroidered tree

This is another design I put onto a screen. I used this design for the header card for this final sample. 

This image of a an embroidered tree I got off pinterest. In the background you can see a faint white print. I like this idea of the same colour print on the same colour fabric. The tree is made up of french knots and selected beads using the same colour pink but different shades. 

For the stalk of the tree I have used my own tie dyed fabric to create a different effect. I have used neon pink for the outline of the tree. 

The background of the fabric is done by using yellow flock print on yellow fabric, keeping the same colour print on the same colour fabric. I have painted on top of this using text-flock to create the middle part of the tree and foiling that part with gold. I like how the foil picked up the pattern of the flock. 

This is the final sample. I have hand stitched each indivual sequin and bead for the branches of the tree. I have been very selective of the colour of the sequins and beads, using only gold and pink. I was also very selective of where the beads and sequins went, how many and the sizes of them. I wanted to keep them quite small but having a few bigger ones.
