Liberty
Liberty's are well known for their art fabrics and scarves collections. The company started out in 1875 by Arthur Liberty who created the first department store in the UK to stock oriental goods. That heritage still lives in the store today. A lot of Liberty art fabrics are reworked from historic fabric designs to become more modern and change the colours to make them brighter.
They have very oriental designs as well as ditsy florals.
This fabric is also in a wallpaper but the fabric is much brighter and uses more colours. In my designs I have tried to produce both large and small scale eclectic and oriental ranges of flowers. I also like thr background in this fabric, it really draws your eyes to the main flowers.
