House of Lesage
These embellished pieces are by House of Lesage. They are beautiful completely covered all over with beads, sequins and stitch. They produce amazing pieces of couture. The one on the left is a jacket, where as the one on the right is a wall piece. They use beautifully bright colours and really inspire me for my own embellishment.
Here is my own embellished sample. I have created a patchwork piece using different fabrics and embellished on top of it. Each patch is unique and every motif on each patch is taken from my own drawings. This piece is my favourite piece and I could imagine it for use in interiors on a cushion or even a chair covering. This is a final sample and took me at least 50 hours to complete, if not longer. I started this piece quite early in the module and kept working at it each week.
These are some of the direct drawings taken from my sketchbook that have been used in different patches for the embroidery. You can see the direct link from my paintings to this sample.
These are more pages in my sketchbook that have been used as patches. These patterns were created by bleaching out ink.
