Digital cushion prints

This week I have been printing my final cushion designs onto medium viscose satin. The backs will be printed onto velvet. The satin fabric when washed frayed a lot and also ran a lot in the wash, whereas the velvet was easy to work with, didn't fray or run much colour.

I have been looking at beaded trims and invisible zips that colour match each cushion. I may add small selected amounts of beads and embroidery to the cushions but not much.
